The countdown is on! The Meath Careers Expo 2025 takes place next Wednesday, 9th October, from 12–6pm at the four-star Ardboyne Hotel, Navan. Now in its seventh year, the Expo has become one of the most anticipated events in the county’s calendar, attracting leading employers and jobseekers. Led by County Meath Chamber, the Meath Careers Expo addresses a key challenge for businesses across the region recruiting and retaining the talent they need to grow.

At its heart, the Expo is about building connections: helping employers tap into a strong and diverse local workforce, while giving jobseekers and career changers the chance to explore real opportunities closer to home. By supporting local employment, the Expo keeps skills and economic activity in Meath, strengthening businesses, communities, and the wider county economy.

This year’s event will host over 50 leading employers across a broad range of sectors – including science, engineering, IT, healthcare, hospitality, retail, agriculture, logistics, and finance – with hundreds of live roles available. Niamh Gaffney, President of County Meath Chamber, said: “The Careers Expo has grown year on year, and 2025 promises to be our biggest yet showcasing the depth of talent in Meath, supporting local enterprise, and creating long-term opportunities for people to build their future here at home.”
Paula McCaul, CEO of County Meath Chamber, added: “We know recruitment and retention are pressing challenges for employers, and the Expo is designed to support them. By connecting businesses with local talent and providing jobseekers with clear pathways, we’re building a stronger, more resilient workforce for Meath.”

The Chamber acknowledged the support of its sponsor Meath County Council, corporate partner MTM Engineering and key collaborators Intreo and LMETB, who will provide career advice and CV support on the day. The Meath Careers Expo 2025 is free to attend. With hundreds already registered, strong footfall is expected. Businesses and jobseekers alike are encouraged to take part and be part of a thriving future for Meath.
